Here at the Rotary Club of Romsey Test, we are definitely getting our ducks in order! Yes! it's coming up for that time of year for the Annual Mayors' Picnic and Duck Race.
We are so excited to be able to bring back the Duck Race and Mayors' picnic to Romsey Memorial Park on the 3rd July between 12 noon and 5 pm.
The event kicks off with a parade lead by the Romsey Old Cadets from Church Place down to the Romsey Memorial Park.
We have a full program of events from musical entertainment from the Romsey Voices, Romsey Youth Children Choir and Mountbatten Choir. Really looking forward to some martial arts from AO Tae Kwon DO.
We have the the ever popular “Soakabloka”, Scouts Obstacle course, train rides, punch and judy and even the Crowing of this years Carnival Queen.
Not only do we have entertainment but also lots of charity stalls and of course some shopping.
The Park Café will be serving food and we are organising a Licensed bar.
Our Duck Race will take place in the River Test at 16.30. Ducks will be on sale all day for £1 (please bring cash along as wifi is quite temperamental in the park)
