Community Service Committee

We are fortunate to live in and around the beautiful town of Romsey small enough to have a village feel and to have a real sense of community.

Through our Community Service we try to enhance that sense of community and do it in many ways. Here are some of them

  • The Mayors’ Picnic in the Memorial Park on the first Sunday in July is a free “village fete” for all ages and features the Rotary Duck Race.

  • Carols in the Market Place. The final Monday before Christmas Day each year.

  • We are able to make donations at short notice to individuals and local charities to meet urgent need. Please get in touch if you know of a deserving charity or cause that we can help.  Whether that be monetary or volunteering.

  • We have enhanced our environment in number of ways:

    • Psalm 23 Garden at Romsey Abbey Primary School

    • Soon to be available Mental Health Booklets for Years 4 to 6

    • Funding a Youth worker at Youth in Romsey
